To cut a long tale short, it was quite the ordeal, which involved travelling 2.5 hours in a blizzard. It took 6 hours, and we lost electricity after hunkering down in our Airbnb for the night. Shenandoah caverns and endless caverns are good also. We have been to all of them except for skyline, and can’t wait to go. Dixie caverns are good, but if you aren’t in good shape I would suggest not to go, it’s not handicap friendly. It’s a lot of stairs and it’s like a cork screw up and down. All the caverns are worth seeing. We have a paper from Dixie caverns that shows everything to see that is worth the time to check out. Natural tunnel, Cumberland cave and other places. There are a total of 8 or possibly 9. Put them on your bucket list, you’ll be glad you did.
